1st Day of Kindergarten

The day I thought would never come. The day that came all too fast!
A mix of emotions & nerves.
KINDERGARTEN!
It is here & Kinley was SO excited to start! Mama on the other hand.. I've been ready for the drop of the daycare payment for sure, but not fully ready to let her go. I think just letting her out of the car to do this on her own will be the toughest part of it all! Not knowing she's safely in her "nest" before we drive off is wearing me out! I couldn't fathom her riding a bus! But alas, everyone does it, everyone gets their routine down. I know, I know! Thankfully we love her teacher & know her somewhat on a more personal level. I feel 100% comfortable with her as does Kinley ;)

18 months

Presley turned 18 months on Aug 12th. Time is seriously flying by! She has been doing great other than a small viral infection she had for a couple days. 

No shots for this check up so she was a happy camper ;)

*23lbs 7oz

*I think she was 31 inches tall

*Diaper size: 4

*Clothes size: 18-24 mo but mostly 18

*Shoe size: 4.5

*Favorite food: Mashed potatoes

*Favorite thing to do: Throw things..anything!!

*Says: Mama/Mommy, Dada/Daddy, Sissy, PaPa, Nana, GiGi, MiMi (for Emily), May May (For Macy), lie (light), cup, ball, tan ooo (thank you), more, NO, ni ni (night night).. there's more I'm forgetting!

*She's done really good at daycare & has moved up to the big girl class :*) sniff

*She will usually not eat if she is being fed! Miss independent has to do it on her own!

*WILL NOT sit in her high chair to eat. So we are going to buy one of the safety seats you put in a chair. 

*Sleeps a solid 12 hours every night :) At school she will nap for 2 hours but normally an hour is all I can get out of her at home. All day! 

She definitely keeps us on our toes! She's a little more wild than her sister was at this age. I guess she is making up for being such a good baby! Opposite than her sissy ;)

Speaking of sissy.. she LOVES HER SOME KINLEY!!!!

School shopping weekend!

Friday I took Kinley to get all her school supplies. She was a little upset that she couldn't pick out all the cute stuff (they have certain colors they want, etc) but she had so much fun helping me get her things! She's so ready to start she can't stand it ;) Me on the other hand..besides dropping that daycare payment.. I am not so sure I'm ready! 

Saturday my Mom & I took her school clothes shopping. She was too excited to be getting a new wardrobe ;) We were at it for about 6 hrs & she did great until the last 45 mins or so.  PawPaw & Gi also gave her some money to pick some things out! We are all set!

She looks super short in this picture for some reason lol but it was too cute!

 Then I came home to Garth. Party on!! 

There are many Halloween wigs, etc at PawPaw & Gi's house to play with! 

Does she not look like Garth from Wayne's World or what!!? 

Ready or not, Kindergarten is just around the corner! 15 days to be exact!!
