~Zoo~

Today we went to the Zoo w/ PawPaw, Gi, Dylan & Emily. Jeffrey wanted to check out the new Asian Forest at the zoo- and I must say it was well worth it! We watched this HUGE orangatang go crazy with a cardboard box..& then a worker came out to give him some water & food. It was pretty cool! There was also a neat little area for the kids to play. I thought there could've been more animals but this was still pretty entertaining!

Happy Birthday Price!

On Saturday we went to Price's 2nd Birthday Party! It was so cute & Kinley had a great time. We couldn't stay the whole time because I had to come home to get ready for Jessika's baby shower but we sure enjoyed our time swimming & swinging!

They set up a big tent outside & had blow up pools for the kiddos~such a cute idea!

My birthday part 2

The Ranger game was Thursday..so Friday Jeffrey & I got up & drove over to Southlake to do some tax free shopping. We mainly got Kinley some cute clothes for the fall & ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. After that we went over to Grapevine & went strolling down Main St..one of my favorite places to go!

Later that afternoon PawPaw & Gi brought Kinley up to meet us & we went to Dave & Busters in south Arlington/Mansfield area.

Kinley had a lot of fun & it was her last big outting until school started!

I also ran into an old best friend of mine there & I DIDNT GET A PICTURE! Such a BUMMER.

My Birthday part 1

For my birthday, Jeffrey surprised me with Ranger tickets! We headed up to Arlington on Thursday afternoon with Alex & Kate. Before the game we ate at Humperdink's next to Six Flags & it was sooo yummy! We all had good conversation & really caught up.

Then we headed over to the game --- to sit in the HOT HOT sun for about 45 mins before it finally went down! But our seats were GREAT! We were in left field near the foul line (2nd row) so we got a homerun hit right to us. The kid in front of us got it tho!

I hadn't been to a game in so long so I was really wanting to go..especially now that PUDGE is back! But we didn't get to see him play tho!

1st day of school

Today is a huge day for Miss Kinley. She started school today for the first time. She was really excited when she got up this morning.. I asked her if she was ready to go to school & she said NEW FWIENDS!

I know she is in good hands but it is the first time we have EVER left her with someone that wasn't family. We dropped her off at 8 & I watched through the window for a while & then sat in the car till about 8:40 & Nana came to visit me! So we went back inside to watch her a little while longer & she was still doing great. She didn't even care that we left!

I know it wasn't pretty when I left there (in 2005) but I am really glad I worked there bc I know how good the teachers really are. I still have relationships with them & I know they will take care of our girl.

I am about to head back up there, mama forgot her Elmo to sleep with!

Kinley has a new do!

Kinley's hair is FINALLY long enough to put up in a pony tail...well kind of. I will still need to get some clippies to help keep it up (her hair is soooo fine) but you can finally tell it's a pony!

I was having her try on some clothes she hasn't worn in a while to see if they still fit for this weekend~so that is why she is 1/2 dressed :)
